Job Title: Order Processing Specialist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Order Processing Specialist to join our client to support fast-paced order management and ensure customers receive accurate, timely service. In this role, you will coordinate quoting and order activities, maintain high-quality data within internal systems, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to keep fulfillment on track. You will also serve as a key communication point for customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth transactions from quote to invoice. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, detail-heavy environment and enjoys solving problems with precision.
Compensation:
$25–$30/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Key Responsibilities of the Order Processing Specialist:

  • Support quoting activities by preparing, issuing, and tracking harvest and incremental quotes, ensuring timely follow up to secure business.
  • Manage end-to-end order entry within SAP, reviewing contract terms and maintaining accurate customer and product data across all relevant records.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams to drive on-time fulfillment, resolve discrepancies, and uphold compliance throughout the order cycle.
  • Process and monitor customer returns, including generating RGA documentation and partnering with Finance to resolve credit or invoice concerns.
  • Maintain a high volume communication workflow, providing timely responses to customers and sales representatives while organizing tasks for efficient follow through.

Qualifications and Skills for the Order Processing Specialist:

  • Experience with order management, quoting, or similar transactional processing, ideally within an ERP environment (SAP preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, including filters, sorting, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
  • Skilled in written communication, organization, and managing large email volumes in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues proactively, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and customer data management is a plus.
