Job Title: AR Coordinator
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an AR Coordinator to join our client to support accurate billing operations and help maintain strong financial controls. In this role, you will manage invoicing, payment application, and account reconciliation to ensure timely cash flow and positive client relationships. This position plays a key part in keeping financial records organized, resolving account discrepancies, and assisting the broader accounting team with ongoing projects. Compensation:
$55,000 – $60,000/year
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the AR Coordinator:
Generate and distribute client invoices while ensuring alignment with internal policies and client agreements.
Oversee the collection process by tracking payments, following up on open balances, and maintaining A/R aging reports.
Accurately apply payments—checks, ACH, and wires—and reconcile accounts to address discrepancies.
Maintain organized financial records and support the accounting team through data entry, reporting, and audit preparation.
Partner with internal account teams and support various business units with billing?related needs.
Qualifications and Skills for the AR Coordinator:
A high school diploma is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not mandatory.
At least 1 year of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related accounting function.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe, with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
Strong communication, customer service, organization, and time?management abilities.
Experience working with billing processes in healthcare, financial services, or insurance is a plus.
