Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client to support homeowners by delivering clear guidance and timely assistance on mortgage servicing questions. This role ensures borrowers receive accurate information, steady communication, and a positive experience while navigating complex account details. The position requires strong multitasking skills, comfort working in a structured virtual environment, and the ability to manage sensitive conversations with professionalism. This is a fully remote contract opportunity.
Compensation:
$16.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday from 11:30am to 8:00pm EST
One Saturday every four weeks from 9:00am to 3:30pm with a comp day the following week

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

  • Support borrowers by addressing questions related to escrow, payments, loan maintenance, PMI removal, and general mortgage servicing needs while ensuring accuracy on every call.
  • Deliver consistent service within a regulated contact center environment that includes recorded calls, automated tracking tools, and strict performance metrics.
  • Navigate multiple computer systems at once to research information, document details, and complete actions while keeping borrowers engaged throughout the conversation.
  • Guide customers through challenging situations using strong communication and de escalation skills while upholding established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain organized workflows in a fast paced, high volume environment with varying call demands.

Qualifications and Skills for the Customer Service Representative:

  • Background in call center support, mortgage servicing, or financial services is strongly valued.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in a simple and confident manner.
  • High level of computer proficiency, including multitasking across several platforms, tools, and proprietary systems.
  • Ability to stay composed under pressure, manage difficult conversations, and consistently meet established KPIs.
  • Reliable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and preferred download of 100 Mbps and upload of 25 Mbps.
