Job Title: Invoice Coordinator
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Invoice Coordinator to join our client to support accurate financial processing and ensure timely vendor payments. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth operations within the accounts payable function by reviewing invoices, verifying accounting details, and resolving discrepancies. The Invoice Coordinator will contribute to efficient payment workflows and help uphold strong relationships with both vendors and internal partners. This is a temporary hybrid position based in Cherry Hill, NJ, offering a blend of onsite collaboration and independent remote work.
Compensation:
$23.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours
Hybrid schedule: three days onsite per month after training

Key Responsibilities of the Invoice Coordinator:

  • Manage high volume invoice processing across several payment types while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal accounting practices.
  • Assign correct general ledger codes to invoices and oversee purchase order activities including creation, approval coordination, and invoice matching.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries, research payment questions, and support timely resolution of outstanding issues, including items aged past thirty days.
  • Monitor and handle check related processes such as routing high value checks for additional signatures, processing voids, and managing stop payments.
  • Provide cross functional support within the accounts payable group and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications and Skills for the Invoice Coordinator:

  • A degree in a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience is equally valued.
  • Experience using accounting and financial systems such as Infinium, EVOS, and GDT, along with general knowledge of online banking tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer service approach when working with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
