Job Title: Junior Data Analyst
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our client to support essential financial data review, reporting, and process improvement efforts. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial information, enhancing reporting tools, and assisting with automation initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency. The Junior Data Analyst will work onsite in Philly and collaborate closely with finance, analytics, and automation teams. This is an onsite contract role through the end of May.
Compensation:
$30 to $35 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Data Analyst:

  • Support the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Deliver meaningful analysis on operational and financial data to highlight trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and manage dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and other analytical tools.
  • Partner with automation teams to pinpoint processes suitable for RPA solutions and help document workflow enhancements.
  • Assist with data validation and reporting requirements during month end and quarter end financial close activities.

Qualifications and Skills for the Junior Data Analyst:

  • Early career experience in data analysis, accounting, or finance, with an understanding of core accounting concepts.
  • Working knowledge of tools such as Power BI, advanced Excel, and SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Exposure to RPA platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate is helpful but not required.
  • Strong analytical thinking paired with effective communication skills to explain findings to non technical teams.
