Job Title: Employment Paralegal ERISA
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Employment Paralegal ERISA to join our client to support a busy Employee Benefits practice and ensure smooth delivery of legal and administrative services. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance documentation, preparing filings, and assisting attorneys handling retirement and benefits related matters. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, polished communication, and the ability to balance multiple priorities with accuracy. This is a direct hire opportunity based fully onsite in Tampa, FL.
Compensation:
$25-40/hr
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Employment Paralegal ERISA:
• Support attorneys with preparation, organization, and maintenance of documents related to ERISA, retirement plans, and employee benefits matters
• Coordinate filings, research, and case documentation using PACER, iManage, or similar legal systems
• Assist with reviewing plan materials, gathering data, and communicating updates with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure timely follow up, maintain detailed records, and manage shifting priorities in a fast paced environment
• Contribute to special projects involving health and welfare benefits or executive compensation as needed
Qualifications and Skills for the Employment Paralegal ERISA:
• At least two years of experience supporting retirement or employee benefit plans as a paralegal or within a plan administration environment
• Familiarity with ERISA rules, retirement plan operations, and federal court research tools such as PACER
• Experience with document management systems including iManage or comparable platforms
• A degree in a related field is preferred, and an associate degree or equivalent combination of experience is required
• Strong attention to detail, steady work history, excellent communication, and the ability to remain composed under pressure
