Job Title: Financial Analyst II
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join our client to support financial analysis, regulatory planning, and investment decision making within a utilities environment. This role focuses on delivering accurate financial insights that guide rate planning, capital investments, and long term business strategy. The Financial Analyst II will collaborate with internal partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting growth initiatives. This is a contract opportunity based onsite in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Compensation:
$50.00 to $60.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday during core business hours with flexibility within 7 to 4, 8 to 5, or 9 to 6
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst II:
• Support utility rate case efforts through financial modeling, forecasting, and preparation of regulatory documentation
• Assist with annual budgeting and long range financial planning to align operational goals with future growth
• Analyze financial data related to capital investments and infrastructure projects to support leadership decisions
• Contribute to financial due diligence activities for water and wastewater acquisitions and expansion efforts
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to support regulatory filings, inquiries, and litigation activities
Qualifications and Skills for the Financial Analyst II:
• Two or more years of experience supporting rate cases within a regulated utilities environment
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to manage work independently or collaboratively
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with experience using SAP or similar financial systems
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven setting
