Job Title: B2B Collections Specialist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a B2B Collections Specialist to join our client to support effective cash flow management and strengthen customer financial partnerships. This role focuses on driving timely payments, resolving account issues, and minimizing credit risk across a portfolio of business customers. The position is based in Philadelphia, PA with an onsite schedule three days per week and is a direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining healthy receivables while collaborating closely with internal teams.
Compensation:
$60,000 to $70,000 base salary plus annual bonus
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the B2B Collections Specialist:
• Oversee a portfolio of commercial accounts within the order to cash process to achieve monthly cash collection goals
• Manage proactive outreach to customers to address overdue balances, clarify payment expectations, and negotiate resolutions
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes to remove obstacles to timely payment
• Evaluate credit exposure, monitor adherence to agreed terms, and recommend updates to credit limits when needed
• Partner with cash application, sales, customer service, and finance teams while supporting required account documentation
Qualifications and Skills for the B2B Collections Specialist:
• Three or more years of hands on experience in B2B credit control or collections as a core responsibility
• Confidence in communicating directly with customers to influence outcomes and secure payment commitments
• Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail to identify errors and reconcile account activity
• Ability to assess credit risk and apply sound judgment in a fast paced business environment
• Active passport with the ability to travel to the United Kingdom for one week of training
