Job Title: Healthcare Call Center Representative Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Healthcare Call Center Representative to join our client to support members and providers through high quality service and effective issue resolution. This role focuses on delivering a positive call experience while educating callers on healthcare coverage, benefits, and available resources. The representative serves as a first point of contact, ensuring questions are addressed accurately or routed appropriately. This is a hybrid opportunity serving the Greater Philadelphia area with long term potential. Compensation:
$21.95 per hour Work Schedule:
Call center hours between 8:00 AM and 8:15 PM EST, five days per week with eight hour shifts. Flexibility is required for evenings and weekends. Schedule is currently weekdays only through September 2026, then expands to seven days per week during open enrollment. Key Responsibilities of the Healthcare Call Center Representative:
• Deliver professional and courteous inbound and outbound call support to members and providers while educating them on healthcare plans, eligibility, and benefits
• Resolve inquiries related to enrollment, demographics, identification materials, primary care provider changes, appointments, and transportation needs, escalating complex issues when appropriate
• Document interactions accurately, open and manage cases within internal systems, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely resolutions
• Conduct scripted outreach campaigns and research member information by coordinating with external offices and agencies as needed
• Maintain compliance with call center protocols, confidentiality standards, scheduling expectations, and ongoing training requirements Qualifications and Skills for the Healthcare Call Center Representative:
• Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or healthcare support environment
• Foundational knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP, or similar healthcare programs, or the ability to learn quickly
• Strong communication, listening, and problem solving skills with a service oriented mindset
• Comfort navigating multiple systems while maintaining accurate and detailed documentation
