Job Title: Medical Bill Repricer
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Medical Bill Repricer to join our client to support accurate review and pricing of workers compensation medical claims. This role focuses on ensuring provider bills are complete, compliant, and processed according to jurisdictional regulations. The position is based in Philadelphia, PA and follows a hybrid work arrangement with required onsite work during the week. This is a temporary opportunity ideal for an experienced workers compensation professional who thrives in a detail driven environment.
Compensation:
$24.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday during normal business hours with a start time around 8:00 AM. Onsite work is required Tuesday through Thursday.
Key Responsibilities of the Medical Bill Repricer:
• Review, screen, and process workers compensation medical bills to confirm accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
• Apply medical cost containment rules and jurisdiction specific pricing guidelines across multiple workers compensation regions
• Perform system based and manual bill pricing, generate explanations of reimbursement, and validate pricing outcomes
• Communicate with medical providers and internal or external partners to resolve billing discrepancies, missing information, and reimbursement inquiries
• Identify recurring billing trends or system issues and provide feedback to leadership to support operational improvements
Qualifications and Skills for the Medical Bill Repricer:
• High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of four years of workers compensation claims or medical billing experience
• Strong knowledge of procedure codes, healthcare terminology, and medical cost containment practices
• Demonstrated ability to apply workers compensation laws and utilization review standards, including Pennsylvania Bureau requirements
• Experience handling data heavy workflows, including detailed entry from PDF based medical claims
• Professional communication and customer service skills with confidence handling inbound calls and provider questions
