Job Title: Benefit Plan Designer
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Benefit Plan Designer to join our client to support the creation and maintenance of healthcare benefit plans within a claims environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring benefit designs are accurately translated into system functionality and aligned with plan documentation. The ideal candidate will combine technical system build expertise with a strong understanding of healthcare claims and benefit structures. This is a fully remote, direct hire opportunity supporting nationwide operations.
Compensation:
$60,000 to $70,000 base salary plus annual bonus
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Benefit Plan Designer:

• Design, build, and implement new healthcare benefit plans within claims processing systems to ensure accurate adjudication
• Interpret complex plan documents and convert benefit requirements into system configurations and rules
• Establish new client or group setups while maintaining and enhancing existing plan structures
• Investigate and resolve plan related system issues, ensuring compliance with benefit design intent
• Collaborate with internal partners to support ongoing improvements to claims accuracy and operational efficiency

Qualifications and Skills for the Benefit Plan Designer:

• Proven experience working with healthcare benefit plans, including claims processing and plan design concepts
• Hands on experience configuring or building plans within a claims administration system
• Working knowledge of ICD coding and its impact on claims and benefit determination
• Familiarity with tools or systems such as VBA, Javelina, GBAS, or comparable platforms
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate written documentation into technical system solutions
