Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client to support daily customer service operations and ensure timely, accurate resolution of inquiries. This onsite, contract role is based in Philadelphia, PA and runs through September 30. The position plays a key role in managing incoming requests, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining a positive experience for youth participants, providers, and employers. The ideal candidate is service driven, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume environment.
Compensation:
$20 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:
- Deliver professional and responsive customer support through a centralized ticketing system while following established communication standards
- Manage and prioritize an active ticket queue by documenting actions, monitoring status, and meeting response and resolution goals
- Perform initial issue review and basic troubleshooting, escalating concerns and partnering with internal team members as needed
- Serve as a primary point of contact in collaboration with the Operations Coordinator for incoming and outgoing communications
- Uphold security, privacy, and data handling practices while verifying user identity and supporting sensitive inquiries
Qualifications and Skills for the Customer Service Representative:
- High school diploma required, with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience using databases or CRM platforms such as Salesforce, along with strong organization and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while adapting to changing priorities and competing demands
- Willingness to successfully complete required background checks and handle confidential personal information responsibly
