Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client to support borrowers by delivering timely, accurate, and service driven assistance through inbound and outbound communications. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction and long term retention by resolving inquiries and guiding customers to the right solutions. The position begins with foundational customer support responsibilities and offers opportunities for growth into advanced service or outreach focused teams. This is a fully remote, long term contract opportunity.
Compensation:
$19 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 11:00pm EST
Assigned shifts typically 10:00am to 7:00pm EST or 11:00am to 8:00pm EST
One rotating Saturday per month from 9:00am to 1:00pm EST
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:
• Respond to inbound calls from existing customers and provide clear, professional support aligned with service standards
• Assess customer needs and either resolve concerns directly or route inquiries to the appropriate internal team
• Deliver a positive customer experience with a strong focus on engagement, education, and retention
• Participate in outbound call initiatives as assigned, following approved scripts and meeting call activity expectations
• Maintain accurate documentation while navigating multiple systems in a fast paced call center environment
Qualifications and Skills for the Customer Service Representative:
• Previous experience in a call center environment supporting inbound or outbound customer interactions
• Background in banking, mortgage services, student loans, or account based service industries preferred
• Demonstrated employment stability with an average tenure of at least one year per role
• Strong computer proficiency with the ability to work across multiple applications simultaneously
• Professionally formatted resume with clear communication skills and attention to detail
