Job Title: Medical Claims Coordinator
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Medical Claims Coordinator to join our client to support accurate and timely processing of medical claims during a period of increased volume. This role is focused on ensuring claims data and documentation are entered correctly while meeting daily productivity and quality standards. The Medical Claims Coordinator will work closely with a Claims Supervisor and an established team to help maintain efficient claims operations. This is a fully remote, temporary opportunity supporting healthcare administration functions.
Compensation:
$18 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours based on the employee’s time zone
Key Responsibilities of the Medical Claims Coordinator:

• Process and manually enter medical claims on a daily basis while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Review claims for completeness and attach appropriate supporting documentation to ensure proper handling
• Utilize proprietary software systems and provided equipment to efficiently manage assigned claims workload
• Meet established daily production goals and performance expectations while supporting overall team objectives
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management in a positive and professional manner

Qualifications and Skills for the Medical Claims Coordinator:

• High school diploma or GED required with experience in healthcare or insurance environments preferred
• Working knowledge of medical or insurance terminology with the ability to apply it accurately during claims processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint within a professional setting
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment
• Demonstrated commitment to learning new systems, building skills, and contributing to a collaborative work culture
