Job Title: Accounting Manager Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our client to help drive accurate financial operations, compliant reporting, and strong team leadership across the accounting function. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely closes, reliable financial data, and adherence to regulatory standards within a healthcare focused environment. The Accounting Manager will partner with internal teams to support decision making, strengthen controls, and improve processes. This is a direct hire opportunity based in Dallas, TX with a hybrid work arrangement requiring three days onsite and two days remote each week. Compensation:
$95,000 to $115,000 per year plus bonus Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
• Manage billing and accounts receivable processes, monitoring aging, supporting collections, and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing
• Ensure revenue recognition and financial reporting comply with US GAAP and applicable healthcare regulations
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight for accounting staff while supporting audits, cash management, and special projects Qualifications and Skills for the Accounting Manager:
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, healthcare finance, or a related discipline is preferred, with eight to ten years of relevant experience
• Previous people management experience with demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop accounting or finance teams
• CPA designation is strongly preferred along with a deep understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, exercise sound judgment, and resolve issues in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills with working knowledge of Outlook and Great Plains or similar ERP systems Why Join Us?
