Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join our client to support attorneys by delivering consistent, high quality administrative and litigation assistance in a fast paced legal environment. This role plays a critical part in keeping matters moving forward by managing filings, documentation, and financial processes. The position is a direct hire opportunity and is fully onsite in Santa Monica, California. Candidates who thrive in a shared support model and take initiative in their work will excel in this role.
Compensation:
$80,000 to $95,000 per year
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Litigation Legal Assistant:

• Provide comprehensive litigation and corporate support to attorneys through a centralized Attorney Resource Center task queue
• Manage high volume electronic filing across local, state, and federal courts while ensuring accuracy and compliance with court rules
• Coordinate legal documentation, case materials, and deadlines to keep matters organized and on track
• Process invoices, expense reimbursements, and related financial documentation in a timely manner
• Collaborate with a nationwide team of legal assistants to deliver responsive and reliable attorney support

Qualifications and Skills for the Litigation Legal Assistant:

• Three or more years of experience supporting litigation and corporate or commercial legal work, with five years preferred
• Demonstrated expertise with electronic filing in local, state, and federal jurisdictions
• Proven ability to work independently in a shared support or resource pool environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and proactive problem solving
