Job Title: Modification Processing Specialist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Modification Processing Specialist to join our client to support mortgage servicing operations by ensuring loan modifications are processed accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards. This role focuses on helping homeowners retain their properties through timely and precise modification handling. Working fully onsite in West Palm Beach, FL, the specialist will partner with internal teams to move files efficiently from approval through completion. This is a temporary opportunity offering hands on exposure within a regulated mortgage servicing environment.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Key Responsibilities of the Modification Processing Specialist:

• Support homeowners and servicing teams by processing approved loan modifications and reinstatements to help borrowers remain in their homes
• Update and maintain accurate loan data within servicing systems, including recording modification terms and status changes
• Prepare, review, and coordinate modification and subordinate mortgage documents for execution, mailing, and county recording through third party vendors
• Ensure adherence to investor, regulatory, and CFPB requirements by reviewing reports, loan files, and control documentation
• Collaborate with supervisors and cross functional teams to resolve file issues, communicate concerns, and meet established timelines

Qualifications and Skills for the Modification Processing Specialist:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with mortgage servicing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage significant data entry across multiple systems
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word with the ability to document and track loan activity accurately
• Effective organizational and analytical skills, including the flexibility to manage shifting deadlines
• Willingness to obtain and maintain company notary status and perform onsite notarizations for electronic and paper documents
