Job Title: Account Resolution Specialist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist to join our client to support outreach efforts that help individuals address past due federal student loan obligations. This role plays a key part in guiding former students toward available repayment solutions while maintaining accurate account progress. The position is fully remote and offers an opportunity to build experience in customer service and account management within a structured call driven environment. This is a contract to hire opportunity designed for reliable professionals who thrive in independent remote work settings.
Compensation:
$16.50 per hour
Work Schedule:
37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Typical schedule includes two shifts from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, two shifts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities of the Account Resolution Specialist:
• Engage with assigned account holders through outbound calls to discuss overdue federal student loan balances and available next steps
• Manage and prioritize a large monthly account queue while ensuring consistent follow up and progress toward resolution
• Guide individuals to appropriate government loan servicing resources and explain general options in a clear and professional manner
• Accurately document call outcomes, notes, and account updates within internal systems
• Balance continuous phone activity with real time computer navigation and record keeping in a remote environment
Qualifications and Skills for the Account Resolution Specialist:
• Demonstrated customer service or call center experience with confidence handling frequent outbound calls
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to remain professional and empathetic during sensitive conversations
• Comfort working remotely with minimal supervision while meeting productivity and quality expectations
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and general computer systems
• Bilingual communication skills are preferred but not required
