Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client to support daily customer interactions and help deliver a positive service experience. This role plays a key part in addressing customer needs, resolving concerns, and ensuring accurate communication across teams. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with customers, is comfortable using technology, and thrives in a fast paced onsite environment. This is a temp to hire opportunity based in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, with full time onsite expectations.
Compensation:
$21.00 to $23.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by responding to inquiries through phone, email, and chat channels
- Address customer issues, concerns, and complaints efficiently while working toward timely and effective resolutions
- Process customer transactions including refunds, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and attention to detail
- Document customer interactions and maintain organized records within internal systems
- Partner with internal teams to share feedback, identify trends, and support overall customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Skills for the Customer Service Representative:
- Strong customer service mindset with a friendly and engaging communication style
- Comfort and confidence speaking with customers over the phone in a professional setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, along with general technical aptitude
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude
- Willingness to work onsite in a warehouse or manufacturing distribution environment
