Job Title: Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our client to support the efficiency and accuracy of day-to-day financial operations within the accounts payable function. This contract role is based in Los Angeles, CA and follows an onsite work arrangement. In this position, you will collaborate across finance teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely invoice processing, issue resolution, and compliance with financial controls. This role plays an important part in maintaining strong vendor relationships while contributing to ongoing process improvements and operational excellence.

Compensation:
$24.00 – $28.00/hour

Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Analyst:

• Support end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment execution, vendor account reconciliation, and maintenance of vendor records
• Serve as a point of contact for AP-related inquiries by managing helpdesk requests and coordinating timely issue resolution with internal teams and external partners
• Collaborate with finance groups, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, documenting workflows, and recommending enhancements
• Assist with system updates, testing activities, and integration efforts tied to new initiatives such as business changes or acquisitions
• Maintain adherence to internal controls by supporting compliance efforts, updating procedures, and ensuring alignment with audit and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Skills for the Accounts Payable Analyst:

• At least 3 years of experience in an accounts payable or procure-to-pay environment
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required
• Strong understanding of financial controls and experience working across multiple AP functions
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision
• Effective communicator with the ability to engage professionally with vendors, leadership, and cross-functional teams
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proven commitment to customer service and team collaboration in fast-paced environments
• Experience supporting remote or global teams is valued; exposure to the entertainment industry is a plus
