Job Title: Corporate Trainer – Mortgage Sales
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Corporate Trainer – Mortgage Sales to join our client to support the development and performance of loan advisors through structured training and ongoing coaching initiatives. This contract position is based in Phoenix, AZ with a hybrid work arrangement, blending in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. The trainer will play a key role in enhancing sales effectiveness, ensuring compliance adherence, and improving customer engagement outcomes. This role partners closely with leadership to drive measurable performance improvements and maintain high training standards across the organization.
Compensation:
$36.00 – $40.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM MST
Key Responsibilities of the Corporate Trainer – Mortgage Sales:
- Deliver comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training programs that equip loan advisors with the tools, systems knowledge, and sales techniques needed to succeed
- Evaluate performance through call monitoring, coaching sessions, and analysis of sales and compliance metrics, providing actionable feedback to drive improvement
- Collaborate with sales leadership to track trainee progress, communicate key performance trends, and address attendance or behavioral concerns in alignment with company policies
- Maintain subject matter expertise by staying current on mortgage regulations, industry changes, and evolving best practices, recommending updates to training content as needed
- Partner with learning and development teams to support the creation and refinement of training materials, ensuring relevance and effectiveness
- Contribute to the rollout of call center initiatives, pilot programs, and broader training strategies that enhance team performance and customer experience
Qualifications and Skills for the Corporate Trainer – Mortgage Sales:
- At least 3 years of experience in mortgage sales, training, or a closely related field with a strong understanding of sales environments
- A degree in business, finance, education, or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and communicate effectively with individuals at varying levels of experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into training strategies
- Self-motivated and goal-driven, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and measurable results
- Working knowledge of mortgage industry practices and regulatory considerations; NMLS licensure is a plus but not required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining consistency, organization, and attention to detail
