Job Title: Assistant Office Manager Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Assistant Office Manager to join our client to support daily office operations and ensure a well organized, efficient, and welcoming workplace. This role plays a key part in supervising administrative functions, coordinating facilities needs, and serving as a reliable resource for staff and visitors. The position focuses on maintaining smooth front office workflows, vendor coordination, and compliance related support. This is an onsite, long term contract opportunity based in Philadelphia, PA. Compensation:
$22.00 to $24.00 per hour Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Office Manager:
• Oversee day to day office operations, including front desk coverage, administrative support, mailroom activities, and adherence to office procedures
• Support and guide front desk and administrative staff, manage schedules and coverage, and coordinate interpreter services as needed
• Manage office resources such as supplies, equipment, furniture, and storage while ensuring systems and machinery remain in proper working order
• Coordinate facilities and vendor relationships, including maintenance, cleaning, repairs, inspections, and office improvements
• Assist leadership and compliance teams with reporting, documentation support, and handling client, applicant, and visitor inquiries or concerns Qualifications and Skills for the Assistant Office Manager:
• Five or more years of administrative or secretarial experience with increasing responsibility preferred
• Strong organizational, project management, and decision making abilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and client populations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, comfort with technology, and interest in learning new systems
• Demonstrated reliability, sound judgement, emotional intelligence, and the ability to adapt in a fast paced environment Why Join Us?
