Job Title: IP Litigation Paralegal
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an IP Litigation Paralegal to join our client to support complex intellectual property litigation matters from early case development through trial. This role partners closely with attorneys to manage filings, deadlines, discovery, and trial preparation across federal courts and administrative tribunals. The position offers hands on involvement in high stakes litigation with significant responsibility for accuracy and execution. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in Wilmington, Delaware.
Compensation:
$80,000 to $125,000 per year based on experience
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday during normal business hours between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM with a 35 hour work week and overtime eligibility beyond 40 hours
Key Responsibilities of the IP Litigation Paralegal:
  • Oversee litigation docketing and calendar management across federal courts and IP offices, ensuring deadlines, filings, and court rules are accurately tracked using Compulaw Vision and MyView
  • Manage daily intake and review of electronic court filings, scheduling orders, subpoenas, and correspondence while maintaining organized and current case files
  • Support attorneys with brief and memorandum preparation, including cite checking, Shepardizing, and assembling exhibits, appendices, and tables
  • Coordinate discovery and document production activities, work with external vendors, manage invoices, and maintain litigation databases and media uploads
  • Prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials by coordinating logistics, organizing exhibits and transcripts, and providing on site support as needed
Qualifications and Skills for the IP Litigation Paralegal:
  • A paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited program or a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with equivalent experience considered
  • At least four years of litigation paralegal experience, including a minimum of two years supporting intellectual property matters
  • Hands on experience with federal court filings, particularly District of Delaware ECF procedures, and familiarity with PTAB, TTAB, and IPR processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, along with experience using litigation support and electronic discovery platforms
  • Strong organizational, communication, and judgment skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
