Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our client to support attorneys through all stages of civil litigation while ensuring cases move forward efficiently and accurately. This role plays a key part in organizing case materials, preparing legal documentation, and contributing to trial readiness. The position offers hands on involvement across a diverse litigation docket and consistent collaboration with attorneys and legal teams. This is a permanent, onsite opportunity based in Charleston, South Carolina.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Litigation Paralegal:
• Support attorneys across the full litigation lifecycle, from case intake through trial preparation, by coordinating tasks, deadlines, and case activities
• Draft and assist with pleadings, motions, discovery responses, document productions, and other routine legal documents
• Collect, organize, review, and analyze case related materials, including medical records, technical documents, and discovery materials
• Prepare detailed summaries of deposition transcripts, medical records, and other key case documents to support legal strategy
• Maintain organized case files and litigation support materials while assisting with research, document searches, and trial preparation
Qualifications and Skills for the Litigation Paralegal:
• Two or more years of experience supporting litigation matters, with exposure to general civil litigation, construction litigation, or personal injury defense preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize competing deadlines, and work effectively within an active litigation environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, experts, and vendors
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat, along with familiarity with e discovery or document management platforms such as Relativity or similar systems
• Paralegal certificate from an accredited program preferred, with a bachelor’s degree strongly valued or equivalent experience considered
