Job Title: International Communications Specialist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an International Communications Specialist to join our client to help drive global visibility and visitor engagement for a leading destination organization. This role focuses on executing international communication initiatives, supporting media outreach efforts, and developing targeted content that resonates across diverse global markets. The Specialist will collaborate closely with internal teams, agency partners, and media contacts to bring strategic storylines to life. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to international tourism growth through hands on coordination and content development. This is a hybrid, direct hire opportunity based in Philadelphia, PA.
Compensation:
$62,000 to $63,000 annual salary
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday during standard business hours with occasional evenings and weekends as needed
Key Responsibilities of the International Communications Specialist:
• Execute international communication initiatives by developing market specific content and supporting campaigns aligned with broader messaging strategies
• Coordinate media engagement efforts including planning and hosting familiarization tours, responding to media inquiries, and supporting visiting journalists and influencers
• Partner with international agencies and external stakeholders to deliver promotional materials, maintain clear communication, and ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Collaborate with internal marketing and digital teams to support global storytelling, influencer activities, and brand consistency across all channels
• Manage project timelines, track deliverables, and provide regular updates while supporting reporting and documentation for ongoing initiatives
Qualifications and Skills for the International Communications Specialist:
• A degree in communications, public relations, marketing, international relations, or a related field is preferred, with equivalent experience considered
• Three to five years of experience in communications, media relations, or related work, with exposure to tourism or international markets viewed as a strong advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse global audiences and maintain cultural awareness
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with experience handling multiple projects in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with CRM systems, media tools, or AI supported content development platforms is beneficial
