Job Title: AP Accounting Specialist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a AP Accounting Specialist to join our client to support accurate and efficient accounts payable operations while strengthening vendor relationships and maintaining financial integrity. This onsite, direct hire opportunity is based in West Palm Beach, FL and plays a key role in ensuring timely invoice processing and reconciliation across multiple systems. The position partners closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows. Ideal candidates bring strong attention to detail, adaptability, and experience working within ERP environments.
Compensation:
$60,000 - $65,000 per year
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the AP Accounting Specialist:

• Manage end to end accounts payable activities across multiple entities, including invoice review, data entry, and payment processing using internal systems and ERP platforms
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to maintain accurate records, resolve discrepancies, and support strong ongoing relationships
• Perform detailed reconciliations of vendor accounts and general ledger data to ensure accuracy across systems
• Support operational efficiency by identifying process improvements and assisting with enhancements to accounts payable workflows
• Maintain organized documentation, oversee purchase order creation as needed, and handle communication across shared inboxes

Qualifications and Skills for the AP Accounting Specialist:

• At least 2 years of recent accounts payable experience with exposure to full cycle processing; additional experience may be considered in place of a degree
• Hands on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or similar platforms; familiarity with Acumatica is a plus
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and reconciliation templates
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and build positive vendor relationships
