Job Title: Data Reconciliation Analyst
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Data Reconciliation Analyst to join our client to support a time sensitive financial data initiative through detailed validation and reporting activities. This role focuses on comparing system generated data with historical records to ensure accuracy and consistency across reports. The position offers an opportunity to move quickly from onboarding into hands on analysis using Excel and internal systems. This is a remote contract opportunity with a preference for candidates located on the East Coast, especially near Philadelphia, PA.
Compensation:
$36.36 per hour to $42.42 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Key Responsibilities of the Data Reconciliation Analyst:
• Perform structured comparisons between system generated reports and prior manual outputs to confirm accuracy and completeness
• Analyze financial and actuarial data sets in Excel to identify discrepancies and validate calculations
• Extract and organize data from TM1 and other tools to support side by side reconciliation efforts
• Document validation outcomes and maintain clear records that support reporting processes and future reference
• Communicate findings and escalate data issues to stakeholders while participating in regular team discussions
Qualifications and Skills for the Data Reconciliation Analyst:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data organization, and formatting techniques
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to review data and identify inconsistencies with accuracy
• Experience working with financial, actuarial, or similar data sets is preferred
• Ability to manage repetitive validation work while maintaining attention to detail and consistency
• Effective communication skills with the ability to document processes and collaborate with team members
