Job Title: Healthcare Call Center Representative
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Healthcare Call Center Representative to join our client to support members through efficient, compassionate service and timely issue resolution. This role plays an important part in ensuring a positive member experience by addressing inquiries and guiding individuals through benefit related questions. The position begins with onsite training in the Greater Philadelphia area before transitioning to a remote work environment. This is a contract to hire opportunity offering long term growth potential within a structured and service driven setting.
Compensation:
$21.95 per hour
Work Schedule:
Call center operates 7 days per week; employees must be available between 8:00 AM and 8:15 PM, working 5 days per week in 8 hour shifts
Key Responsibilities of the Healthcare Call Center Representative:
- Manage a steady volume of inbound calls, assisting members with questions related to benefits, identification cards, and general account needs
- Resolve concerns by gathering information, documenting interactions, and using internal systems to provide accurate solutions
- Identify more complex situations and coordinate escalations while building knowledge for potential advancement into higher level support
- Maintain consistent adherence to assigned schedules, including timely attendance, breaks, and productivity expectations
- Deliver a positive member experience by applying strong listening skills, empathy, and clear communication in every interaction
Qualifications and Skills for the Healthcare Call Center Representative:
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service setting, with healthcare or medical claims exposure preferred
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to confidently navigate multiple systems while handling calls
- Effective communication skills combined with patience, adaptability, and a service oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently in a quiet, HIPAA compliant home environment with reliable internet access
- Coachable and comfortable in a fast paced phone based role, with openness to feedback and continuous improvement
