Job Title: Claims Specialist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Claims Specialist to join our client to support the accurate and timely recovery of funds across mortgage and insurance claims. This role plays a key part in preparing complete claim packages, validating financial data, and navigating investor and insurer requirements to maximize reimbursement. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills and attention to detail while partnering with internal and external stakeholders. This is an onsite, temp to perm opportunity available in Phoenix, AZ or Ewing, NJ.
Compensation:
$19 to $25 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Claims Specialist:

• Prepare and submit complete claim packages, including all required financial, legal, and servicing documentation in accordance with investor and insurer guidelines
• Analyze loan level balances, reconcile advances, and determine eligible versus non eligible expenses to support accurate claim filings
• Manage the full claim lifecycle, including initial filings, reviews of insurer responses, rebuttals, appeals, and supplemental submissions to optimize recovery
• Track timelines and processes for government loans, REO activity, and conveyance milestones to prevent penalties or curtailments
• Collaborate with attorneys, vendors, mortgage insurers, and servicing partners while responding to audits, exceptions, and operational inquiries

Qualifications and Skills for the Claims Specialist:

• Experience working with mortgage claims, servicing, or default operations, with familiarity across FHA, VA, FNMA, FHLMC, or PMI guidelines
• Proven ability to review financial data, reconcile balances, and interpret claim calculations with strong attention to detail
• Effective communication and coordination skills when working with cross functional partners and external stakeholders
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and documentation requirements in a structured environment
• A degree in a related field is preferred, though equivalent hands on experience is equally valued
