Job Title: Insurance Defense Paralegal
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Insurance Defense Paralegal to join our client to support a busy legal team in managing insurance defense matters through all stages of litigation. This direct hire opportunity is based in Houston, TX with a hybrid work arrangement that blends in office collaboration and remote flexibility. The role plays a key part in organizing case workflows, maintaining documentation, and assisting attorneys with preparation for trial. Compensation:
$75,000 - $80,000 per year
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday during standard business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Insurance Defense Paralegal:

• Support attorneys in the insurance defense practice by handling case activity from initial intake through trial preparation
• Draft and prepare routine legal documents while ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards
• Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain organized documentation across multiple active matters
• Gather, review, and analyze records from various sources to support case development and strategy
• Conduct factual research and document searches to assist with case preparation and evidence review

Qualifications and Skills for the Insurance Defense Paralegal:

• Experience working in a legal support role within insurance defense or a related litigation environment
• Strong ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail and organization
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and reviewing case materials with accuracy
• Research skills with the ability to locate and interpret relevant information efficiently
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with attorneys and legal staff
