Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our client to support workforce growth and help attract top talent across a variety of business functions. This contract opportunity (3–6 months) is located in Pennsauken, NJ and is fully onsite. The selected professional will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and guiding candidates through the hiring process while partnering with internal stakeholders to meet staffing objectives. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to recruiting initiatives, strengthen talent pipelines, and enhance the overall candidate experience.
Compensation:
$30–$40/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist:
- Manage recruitment activities from sourcing through onboarding support, ensuring an efficient and positive hiring experience for candidates and hiring teams.
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand workforce needs, establish hiring priorities, and maintain progress toward staffing goals.
- Build and maintain talent networks using a variety of sourcing methods, including online platforms, referrals, community outreach, networking events, and recruiting campaigns.
- Coordinate candidate evaluations, interview scheduling, offer preparation, and pre-employment processes while maintaining consistent communication throughout the hiring lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate recruiting data, track hiring activity, and provide updates on open positions, candidate pipelines, and recruiting performance metrics.
- Ensure recruiting practices align with organizational guidelines, employment regulations, and established hiring procedures.
Qualifications and Skills for the Talent Acquisition Specialist:
- At least 2–3 years of recruitment experience, ideally supporting high-volume hiring needs within operational, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or similar environments.
- Demonstrated success sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for both hourly and professional-level positions.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies; familiarity with Dayforce is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple openings and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is preferred, though comparable professional experience is also valued.
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, discretion, and commitment to maintaining confidential information.
