Job Title: Foreclosure Paralegal

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Foreclosure Paralegal to join our client to support the efficient management of residential foreclosure matters from initial referral through final case resolution. This direct-hire opportunity is based in Orlando, FL and offers a hybrid work arrangement. The ideal candidate will bring strong Florida foreclosure experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to keep legal matters moving accurately in a deadline-driven environment. This role is well-suited for a paralegal who enjoys supporting attorneys, managing case activity, and contributing to a smooth litigation process.

Compensation:
$55,000 - $65,000/year

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Key Responsibilities of the Foreclosure Paralegal:

• Support attorneys throughout the foreclosure lifecycle by assisting with case preparation, litigation activity, filings, and resolution-related tasks.
• Draft, revise, organize, and submit a variety of foreclosure and litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, notices, affidavits, certifications, and summary judgment materials.
• Coordinate case-critical documentation by requesting title reports, payoff information, mortgage assignments, and other records needed to advance foreclosure proceedings.
• Review title-related materials for attorney consideration, including ownership history, lien information, encumbrances, and potential chain-of-title concerns.
• Monitor court dates, filing requirements, deadlines, hearings, and case milestones to help ensure matters remain on track and compliant with Florida court procedures.
• Communicate professionally with internal teams, clients, courts, opposing counsel, title companies, and outside vendors regarding case updates and document needs.
• Maintain organized and accurate case files, calendars, and case management records within firm systems and legal platforms.

Qualifications and Skills for the Foreclosure Paralegal:

• At least 5 years of foreclosure paralegal experience within a law firm setting, with hands-on involvement in residential foreclosure matters.
• Strong working knowledge of Florida foreclosure processes, legal procedures, court rules, and e-filing requirements.
• Proven ability to support foreclosure cases from referral through completion, including contested matters, discovery support, motion practice, and hearing or trial preparation.
• Experience evaluating title reports and related real estate documentation, including ownership, liens, encumbrances, and chain-of-title details.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy, organization, and timely completion of deadlines.
• Required experience using LPS and TEMPO; experience with NetDocuments and Perfect Practice is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management tools, along with strong communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
