Job Title: Benefit Plan Designer
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Benefit Plan Designer to join our client to support key business initiatives and contribute to the success of this role's primary objectives. This Remote, direct hire opportunity is responsible for translating healthcare benefit plan requirements into accurate system configurations that support claims administration and operational effectiveness. The role combines technical expertise, analytical problem solving, and process coordination to ensure benefit plans are implemented and maintained efficiently. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of healthcare plan structures and experience working within claims based environments.
Compensation:
$60,000 - $70,000 annually, plus annual bonus
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Benefit Plan Designer:

• Analyze benefit plan specifications and convert requirements into system configurations for new implementations and ongoing plan maintenance.
• Coordinate updates and changes to existing plan structures while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business needs.
• Investigate processing issues, identify configuration gaps, and deliver effective solutions that support operational performance.
• Maintain detailed plan setup information and support quality assurance efforts related to benefit administration and claims processing.
• Streamline workflows through data analysis, system enhancements, and the use of automation or reporting tools when appropriate.

Qualifications and Skills for the Benefit Plan Designer:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, configuring, or maintaining healthcare benefit plans within a claims administration setting.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare benefits, claims processing practices, and medical coding principles.
• Proven ability to interpret complex documentation, manage multiple priorities, and perform detailed analytical work in a high volume environment.
• Experience working with benefit administration, claims management, or related system platforms, with exposure to multiple technologies considered beneficial.
• Familiarity with VBA or similar automation tools is preferred, along with a demonstrated history of long term employment stability.
