Job Title: Sr. Tax Accountant
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Sr. Tax Accountant to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. Compensation:
$87,000 - $95,000/year + bonus
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, normal business hours; potential overtime during busy season
Key Responsibilities of the Sr. Tax Accountant:

• Prepare and manage a variety of tax filings while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
• Analyze financial information and supporting documentation to identify appropriate tax treatments and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with internal professionals and business stakeholders to address tax matters, answer questions, and support ongoing engagements.
• Maintain productivity goals and effectively manage workload priorities to meet deadlines during both standard and peak periods.
• Participate in client facing discussions, providing professional support and contributing to the development of strong business relationships.

Qualifications and Skills for the Sr. Tax Accountant:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required; candidates nearing certification with one remaining exam and an expected completion timeline may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience in public accounting with a strong foundation in tax preparation and compliance activities.
• Ability to work effectively in a professional services environment, preferably within a small to mid sized firm setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence interacting directly with clients and business partners.
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, meet performance expectations, and maintain attention to detail in a deadline driven environment.
