Job Title: Patient Advocate
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Patient Advocate to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. Located in Mt. Laurel Township, NJ, this Onsite Contract to Hire opportunity offers the chance to work directly with individuals navigating healthcare access and coverage processes. The position plays an important role in helping patients move forward with treatment by coordinating reimbursement related activities and resolving coverage barriers. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast moving environment, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, insurance representatives, and patients.
Compensation:
$28 to $35 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8 hour shift scheduled between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM EST
Key Responsibilities of the Patient Advocate:

• Guide patients through insurance coverage and reimbursement processes, providing support and education throughout their treatment journey.
• Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and insurance organizations to address coverage concerns and facilitate timely outcomes.
• Manage documentation, follow up activities, and case status updates to ensure accurate and efficient handling of reimbursement requests.
• Resolve access related challenges by identifying issues, reviewing requirements, and assisting with administrative processes tied to treatment approval.
• Maintain responsiveness in a dynamic work environment while balancing shifting priorities and delivering a high level of customer service.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting reimbursement, insurance navigation, healthcare access services, or a related function; 4 or more years preferred.
• Background within specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical support services, healthcare payors, or similar healthcare industry settings is highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing workloads, and maintain accuracy in a fast paced environment.
• Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills with a patient focused approach to service delivery.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered where applicable.
