Job Title: Cash Application Analyst
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Cash Application Analyst to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This opportunity is based in Philadelphia, PA and follows a Hybrid work arrangement with onsite collaboration required Monday through Wednesday. As a temporary team member, you will play an important role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily cash management activities. The position offers exposure to cross functional business processes and provides the opportunity to work closely with accounting and finance professionals in a fast paced environment.
Compensation:
$24.50/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday during standard business hours, 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities of the Cash Application Analyst:

• Process and record incoming payments while ensuring transactions are accurately applied within financial systems and supporting documentation is maintained.
• Analyze account activity, investigate payment discrepancies, and resolve exceptions through research using available banking and financial resources.
• Coordinate with internal business partners to reconcile transactions, address variances, and support timely resolution of outstanding payment issues.
• Maintain compliance with established controls, quality standards, and operational procedures to promote data accuracy and financial integrity.
• Contribute to ongoing operational improvements, assist with special projects, and support workflow efficiency initiatives across the finance function.

• Bachelor’s degree with up to two years of relevant experience, or a minimum of two years of experience in accounting, cash management, or a related financial discipline in lieu of a degree.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, including the ability to manage and organize financial information effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform accurately within a high volume, production focused environment.
• Effective analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and solve complex payment related issues.
• Previous exposure to banking operations, treasury functions, healthcare or insurance environments, cash application processes, or enterprise financial systems is preferred.
