Job Title: Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This contract opportunity is Remote and aligned with operations based in Delray Beach, FL. The specialist will guide healthcare providers through complex insurance enrollment and credentialing activities while coordinating with payers and other external organizations to resolve issues and keep cases moving forward. This opportunity is well suited for someone who combines healthcare enrollment knowledge with strong judgment, organization, and confident provider communication.

$26–$31/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist:

• Oversee provider credentialing and payer enrollment activities from initiation through completion, including Medicare, commercial insurance, and network participation requests.
• Coordinate complex enrollment cases involving new payer arrangements, changes to existing participation, tax identification updates, supporting documentation, and billing related requirements.
• Analyze provider records, licensing information, application status, and payer requirements to identify discrepancies, address delays, and maintain accurate information throughout the enrollment process.
• Guide physicians through detailed enrollment requirements, communicate timelines and dependencies clearly, and provide responsive support when navigating challenging or unusual circumstances.
• Maintain an active workload of approximately 100 cases while producing status reporting, managing escalations, coordinating with insurance carriers and related organizations, and ensuring required follow through.

Qualifications and Skills for the Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, payer relations, or a comparable function; hospital credentialing experience may also qualify.
• Previous experience working directly with insurance carriers and familiarity with Medicare and commercial payer enrollment processes, including state specific and national health plan requirements.
• Hands on experience using at least one provider credentialing or enrollment platform such as CAQH, PECOS, or NPPES.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills with the confidence to work directly with physicians, navigate demanding conversations, explain complex requirements, and establish realistic expectations.
• Demonstrated problem solving, adaptability, critical thinking, and organizational skills with the ability to manage a large active caseload; formal education is not a determining requirement for consideration.
