Office Manager

An experienced job-seeker is needed to join our client in New Brunswick, NJ! As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for office workflows, including accounts payable, payroll and billing services. This direct-hire role offers up to $70k/year based on experience.

Responsibilities of the Office Coordinator Include:

  • Establishes and implements policies and procedures and monitors for compliance

  • · Conducts period performance reviews for all revenue management cycle areas

  • Responsible for the daily cash management procedures

  • Manages accounts payable and coordinates and assists with ordering

  • Performs all payroll and payroll related responsibilities

  • Works with outside billing company to develop and implement a smooth, efficient and standardized approach to ASC accounts receivable management

  • Maintains good working knowledge of insurance payor reimbursement requirements and updates staff on any changes need for informing patients

  • Resolves problems with scheduling and registration as well as any back office issues that arise

  • Acts as a liaison with revenue cycle partners

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and familiar with surgical center software programs and EHR/EMR

  • Ensures maintenance of the patient accounting software system, including updating libraries, updates and new software implementations as necessary

  • Ensures on a daily basis that patients and their relatives are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner by the center personnel

  • · Serve as a role model for business services

  • Utilize information system to maximize revenue and collections


Required Qualifications :
Requirements of the Office Manager Include: 

  • Four-year college degree (preferred)

  • Experience in healthcare accounts receivable management

  • Must demonstrate strong operational management, analytical, communication and leadership skills

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
