This is a DIRECT HIRE Role! In the role of Business Systems Analyst, you will become a high-level expert on the platforms and offerings and be able to fill in gaps on the fly and bring back specifics for the engineering and product teams to answer.


 


Responsibilities



    1. Work directly with clients (at all levels of management) and internal stakeholders to establish and define scope, high level and detailed requirements. 

    2. Demonstrate knowledge of the products and services and how to best fit existing offerings with customer’s requirements. 

    3. Work to define requirements, architecture, dependencies, and scope for scaling the ] platform. This includes hardware, servers, networking, storage, and physical datacenters.  

    4. Understand data flow between all aspects of the platform to inform requirements for data synchronization and failover across multiple databases and platforms.

    5. Manage all facets of project artifacts and documentation (requirements, design, release information, training material, flow diagrams, communication artifacts, approvals, etc.)

    6. Participate in the creation of statement of work contracts, proposals, quotes and estimates

    7. Structure deliverables into stories and help drive Sprint plans and sprint execution

    8. Establish communication plans and schedules.  Provide frequent project updates to all stake holders within the organization.

    9. Coordinate meetings with clients, partners, integrators, and internal resources such as engineers, system integration analysts, etc.


 


 



Required Qualifications :

Experience and Qualifications



    1. Bachelor Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Management, MIS, or related discipline

    2. Comfortable working in a fast paced, somewhat unstructured, and entrepreneurial environment

    3. Capable of understanding client issues and requests, then translating them into an appropriate solution

    4. Self-starter, strong management presence, quick learner

    5. Possess an eagerness to learn the details of the platform and services we provide, both technically (how they work) and from a merchant’s perspective (how they are used)

    6. MS Project, MS Office, MS Visio

    7. Agile tools, such as Jira, Rally, VersionOne

    8. Experience delivering software development and infrastructure related IT projects across multi-faceted teams

    9. Demonstrated strong leadership, decision making, risk management, and problem solving skills and experience

    10. Interfacing with external and internal stake holders and SME’s, and C-level personnel

    11. Delivered projects using various software development methodologies, including Waterfall, and Agile SCRUM

    12. Experience translating business process and requirements into deliverables.  You will be asked to conduct “JAD” sessions with clients to help guide and drive requirements definitions. 

    13. Experience within the payments and/or financial services industry a plus
