Collateral Analyst





Eager job-seekers looking to start a career in Finance or Mortgage are needed for a Collateral Analyst role in Fort Washington, PA! As the Collateral Analyst, you will primarily be responsible for the coordination and delivery of physical and electronic collateral documents. This year long contract position offers $24/HR! 

 

Responsibilities of the Collateral Analyst include:



  • Processing the daily delivery of data and documents to the document custodian in accordance with warehouse investor requirements. 

  • Investigating and resolving exceptions cited by investors/document custodians to resolve document and data exceptions.

  • Managing loans in pipeline to ensure optimal warehouse financing availability.  

  • Preparing allonges and note endorsements per warehouse and delivery requirements.  

  • Reviewing documents and images to ensure compliance with PHH product requirements, GSE requirements, warehouse investor contracts and/or mandatory commitments.  

  • Communicating with upstream and downstream business partners on suggestions for process improvements as well as updating of loan-level data. 

  • Performing loan quality/eligibility checks prior to delivery to ensure highest product quality from a loan delivery perspective.

  • Acting as a liaison between Capital Markets and Record Services for the clearing of loan modification exceptions to ensure timely delivery.

  • Performing loan quality/eligibility checks prior to delivery to ensure highest product quality from a loan delivery perspective.

  • Managing the delivery of collateral for all EBO and modification transactions.


Required Qualifications :
Requirements of the Collateral Analyst:

 


 



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or Document Management and/or Loan Delivery experience a plus

  • Familiarity with GSE guidelines and procedures a plus.

  • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage strict deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, including peers, management, clients, and outside counterparties.
