Job Description :

Currently looking for an experienced QA Test Engineer to fill an immediate 6-month contract opening in West Chester, PA. Interested candidates should have a strong background in, and at least 5+ years of experience working in tooling or QA automation.

Responsibilities of the QA Test Engineer include:

  • Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery  

  • Design, develop and support frameworks for our test infrastructure and provide automation expertise to our development teams with a strong emphasis on using code to solve technical challenges and shorten the test cycles through automation  

  • Estimate test efforts, design and develop automation scripts

  • Execute automation scripts and report on them  

  • Document and maintain a robust log of all test cases and test results  

  • Provide regular feedback on the status of the deliverable  

  • Contribute toward predictable delivery of quality releases  

  • Work with Development, Test and Product Management to design and implement test and validation strategies   

  • Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation  

  • Mentor team members on automation

Required Qualifications :


  • Strong background in, and at least 5+ years of experience working in tooling or QA automation  

  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in agile development environments  

  • Experience designing, developing and supporting test automation framework  

  • Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using UFT, Postman, Newman, Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins

  • Experience in automating batch jobs and MQ messages  

  • Proficient with bug tracking and test management toolsets to support development processes  

  • Proficient working with relational databases  

  • Enterprise level project delivery
