This is a DIRECT HIRE Role! Our client is currently seeking a skilled QA Analyst who has a rigorous eye for detail, exemplary technical expertise, and creative problem-solving skills. Comfortable in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial team environment with the ability to make progress on goals and deadlines without micromanagement. This person will work closely with the Product, Development and other QA analyst teams to deliver production releases aligned with the company priorities and deadlines. 


Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

    1. Work with various payment hardware devices and Point of Sales systems within the lab environment 

    2. Build and enhance suites of quality tests across multiple products, platforms, and applications 

    3. Design robust test plan strategies for sanity and regression testing 

    4. Discover, identify, and document defects 

    5. Influence product design by being the voice of the customer 

    6. Ensure the delivery of high quality and rigorously consistent products 

    7. Contribute to the design of the company's quality standards and processes 

    8. Contribute to quality process improvement 

    9. Collaborate in the selection of quality tools and test frameworks 

    10. Read and understand business requirements and technical design documentation 

    11. Automate continuous testing pipeline 

    12. Strive to become a subject matter expert in our products and the payment industry. 

    13. Trouble shoot production issues  

    14. Test new release of device software and new configuration settings 

    15. Create and Maintain documentation  

    16. After hours support as needed 


Required Qualifications :

Required Skills and Experience

    1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 

    2. Strong attention to detail and passion for precision. 

    3. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

    4. Strong critical thinking skills and ability to see whole picture as well as how details fit into it. 

    5. Ability to triage bugs and defects

Nice to have skills and experience:

    1. Experience with Git or other similar version control software

    2. Experience using Jira

    3. Previous experience with Point-Of-Sales or Payment devices

    4. Some programming experience

    5. Data security, encryption handling, compliance, data privacy and laws 

    6. Occasional travel may be required (U.S.)
