Job Description :








Our client, a nation-wide privately held mortgage company is seeking to add an IT Business Analyst to their growing team HR department! This HR team uniquely leverages technology and data to improve, optimize and drive smart business decisions. This individual will join a team of other technical team members in the HR Department including Reporting Analysts, Business Analysts and Data Analysts.


This ideal candidate will be an IT BA with 1-3 years of business analysis experience as well as strong reporting abilities. This is a contract to potential hire opportunity! They are seeking someone who would like to go fulltime after the contract period. This is a 100% REMOTE role! Candidates must be able to work EST or CST hours.


 


Responsibilities


This role will include strong follow up, writing and documentation skills as well as reporting responsibilities. Some sample responsibilities include:



  • Prepare weekly headcount reconciliation reports


    • Consult with external parties/vendors to retrieve headcount data

    • Produce weekly headcount report utilizing Excel


  • Manage day-to-day operations of Employee Productivity Dashboards


    • Provide end-user technical support related to data, access, and accuracy inquires

    • Create tracking process for all support-related inquiries

    • Work with each internal business channel to update and validate data sources

    • Assist with building of reports and dashboard improvements using Tableau


  • Manage data refresh and validation processes for two employee-related projects


    • Reconcile multiple Excel reports to create a consolidated data sourc



Technical Qualifications



  • Excel


    • Working proficiency with lookup/reference functions, pivot tables, charts, aggregate functions (sumif, countif, etc.)

    • Knowledge of Power Query (or Power BI) is a plus, but not required


  • Tableau


    • Familiarity with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server


      • Creation of visualizations and calculated fields

      • Data source creation

      • Dashboard publication



  • Knowledge of UKG (Ultipro) and Cognos BI are a plus, but not required


    • Experience with any HRIS or business intelligence solution would be preferred 




Required Qualifications :

Additional Experience Desired:



  • HR knowledge/exposure is a plus

  • Mortgage industry knowledge is a plus

  • 1-3 years of experience.
