Credit Control Team Lead - HYBRID

Multiple organized individuals are needed to join our client in Ft. Lauderdale, FL! As the Credit Control Team Lead , you will be primarily responsible for involve working with the team to ensure the timely and accurate collection of outstanding balances on customer accounts. This direct-hire role offers $45-55k/year based on experience! 

Responsibilities of the Credit Control Team Lead Include:

  • Managing and prioritizing tasks, schedules, deadlines and calendar.

  • Coaching, training and mentoring team players

  • Foreseeing and avoiding potential problems and situations

  • Managing fluctuating workload demands among team members

  • Utilizing team member’s strengths to maximize results

  • Assisting management with colleagues’ reviews and preparation of quarterly goals

  • Ensuring open lines of communication with management

  • Supporting the collections/cash apps specialists on a day-to-day basis by having a working knowledge of all the credit control and cash apps procedures and processes

  • Ensuring revenue recognition is following group policy

  • Overseeing the collection process and account maintenance

  • Motivating team to ensure performance metrics are hit

  • Supporting communication structures across the team to ensure all key messages are communicated

  • Providing coaching on both soft and technical skills within the team

  • Participating in Recruitment & Selection processes

Required Qualifications :
Requirements of the Credit Control Team Lead Include: 



  • Prior knowledge and understanding of all Collections/cash apps processes

  • Strong knowledge of leadership, coaching and people development

  • Intermediate skills in Excel, Word and Outlook are essential

  • Good communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internal departments and key contacts

  • Knowledge and ability to use relevant internal systems
