POSITION SUMMARY:


Our client in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for multiple friendly, detail-oriented, and communication-driven Benefits Enrollment Representatives to provide superior customer service to all customers and clients through phone calls, emails, and instant messaging systems. Candidates have the opportunity to join a global insurance firm and brokerage with almost 50,000 employees worldwide and undergo thorough training to be accustomed to the work systems, processes, and the overall company environment. As a Benefits Enrollment Representative, you will be responsible for helping members through the insurance enrollment process and making updates to their healthcare and pension plans while building rapport, customizing approaches per client needs, and demonstrating and translating thorough knowledge and understanding of all company plans and options. This is a full-time, year-long contract position with the possibility to hire. The client is looking for English-speaking candidates as well as bilingual candidates and is offering a starting hourly pay of $16.50-17.50 per hour. Benefits Enrollment Representatives will begin remotely but must be local to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for training and on-site work. All employees will receive necessary work equipment and software to enable them to work successfully both remotely and in-office.


 


JOB COMPETENCIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


●       Building rapport with clients and customers through phone calls, emails, and instant messaging systems, while responding in a respectful and timely manner


●       Customizing customer service approaches to specific client needs and demonstrating a thorough understanding of all company pensions and healthcare plans while offering specific advice on options suitable to each client


●       Undergoing all processes and handling secure client information with discretion and per Data Privacy, company data security requirements, and HIPAA laws


●       Understanding and translating health and welfare pension plans and complex processes and information into simple instructions and explanations for clients and customers


●       Documenting all phone calls and interactions and accurately entering information into secure company computer systems and software


●       Participating in team meetings, training sessions, and performing any extra necessary duties needed by the company


Required Qualifications :


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


●      High School Diploma/GED required


●      At least 1-2 years of customer service experience


●      Experience using Microsoft Office and ability to juggle computer programs and software with multiple tabs open at a time


●      Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and punctuation


●      Excellent, punctual attendance


●      Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to multitask


●      Ability to type 30 words per minute


●      Ability to work full-time 32-40 hour weeks Monday-Friday and overtime when requested


●      Ability to work remotely and autonomously and must be local to Pittsburgh, PA


●      Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree a plus


●      Working knowledge of pension plans and/or health and welfare industries a plus


●      Experience working in a call center a plus


●      Ability to write, speak and read Spanish a plus
