Compensation Specialist
An experienced job-seeker is needed for the Compensation Specialist position with out client in Atlanta, GA! As the Compensation Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the compensation programs. This direct-hire opportunity offers $75-90k per year!
Responsibilities of the Compensation Specialist Include:
- Analyzes, designs, and administers employer compensation programs
- Designs and communicates pay structures, grades, compensation budgets, and guidelines
- Advises managers on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines
- Evaluates jobs and develops and maintains job descriptions and job architecture
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws, and best practice
- Reconcile and monitor interfaces to ensure files are delivered and address any issues with data files
- Design compensation packages and guidelines that align with organizational goals and strategic business plans
- Facilitate compensation and payroll audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
- Performs routine tasks as HR BP required to administer and execute human resource programs
- Responsible for the local benefits management, e.g. supporting the yearly insurance renewal, review, and implementation of local benefits
Required Qualifications :
Requirements of the Compensation Specialist Include:
- 7+ years of experience in a similar position and knowledge of Compensation and Benefits and administration in general
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or equivalent academic qualification
- HR experiences and demonstrated ability to improve total compensation strategies
- Experienced with utilizing Salary.com and Mercer Winn Database
- Knowledge of HR practices and theories
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software(SAP_ERP), ADP
