Our client located in Scottsdale, AZ is looking for multiple friendly, detail-oriented, and communication-driven Health Assistants to join their fast-paced, motivated team, acting as a customer service representative and helping members navigate their healthcare benefits and needs. As a Health Assistant, you would be responsible for having a thorough knowledge of all health care systems, plans, and benefit options, and ensuring efficient and comprehensive service to all customers through incoming and outgoing calls and digital messaging applications. You will be building rapport with members and acting as a liaison between the members and the company to offer excellent and detail-oriented translations and explanations of all healthcare options. These are full-time, direct-hire positions that offer a starting rate of $21.50 per hour with the ability to earn bonuses and promotions, and will begin remotely then transition in-office in Scottsdale, Arizona.



  • Monitoring, answering, and making incoming and outgoing calls from customers and thoroughly fulfilling all customer requests under strict timelines

  • Building rapport with members through phone calls and digital messaging systems and helping to answer any questions they may have while offering friendly, timely, and educated customer service

  • Translating and explaining all healthcare systems, benefits, and plans, and customizing support based on specific client needs

  • Assisting members by offering knowledgeable advice on connecting with clinical resources, finding healthcare providers, explaining benefits and healthcare plans, optimizing benefit packages and third party healthcare vendors, and improving financial outcomes and quality of life for all members by optimizing preventative services

  • Ensuring all customer inquiries are met using company regulations and guidelines and explaining all procedures, policies, and details in a kind and patient manner

  • Maintaining customer confidentiality and properly entering any data securely into company computer systems

Required Qualifications :


  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar industry or 5 years of experience in a customer-service based environment

  • Experience in insurance, medical office, behavioral health, pharmacy tech, health plan, benefits specialist, and other related fields a plus

  • High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s Degree a plus

  • Strong understanding of medical benefits plans and packages

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Computer proficiency and can work under deadlines and maintain strong time management skills

  • Must be available to work full-time scheduled shifts Monday - Friday anytime between 8 AM and 11:15 PM

  • Ability to work remotely and transition on-site

  • Must be local to Scottsdale, AZ
