Responsibilities of the HR Assistant include:

Cover the front desk when receptionist is not available

Handle phone inquiries

Open and sort mail
-
Process received checks with accounts receivable/finance
-
Operate mailing system
-
Assist talent acquisition with new hire process as needed
-
Department filing, copying, faxing, maintain integrity of personnel files
-
Prepare and compile orientation packets being certain up to date information is included
-
Provide clerical support as needed
-
Respond to employment verifications
-
Assist in HR initiatives
-
Assist with new employee orientation
-
Schedule CLHS Home Visits
-
High school education or equivalent plus three years relevant work experience.
-
Solid computer skills including Word and Excel. Type 60 w.p.m.
-
Good communication skills and tactful, pleasant demeanor.
-
Well organized and able to prioritize.
-
Must be capable of working with confidential and sensitive information.
