HR Generalist

A diligent job-seeker is needed for the HR Generalist position with our client in Ravenna, Ohio! As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for acting as a point of contact for incoming and existing employees and performing other various tasks. This direct-hire position offers $100k-$110k per year!

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist Include:

  • Recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions

  • Implementing new hire orientation and employee recognition programs

  • Handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff

  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices

  • Reviewing, tracking, and documenting compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments

  • Generating Payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transaction including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes and other deductions

  • Evaluates employee performance and appraising their pay scale accordingly

  • Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications :
Requirements of the HR Generalist Include:

  • 8-10+ years of experience as an HRBP or Human Resources Generalist with experience manufacturing experience

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience

  • 5+ years' experience leading the Human Resources function for a manufacturing facility highly preferred

  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software(SAP_ERP), ADP
