HR Generalist
A diligent job-seeker is needed for the HR Generalist position with our client in Ravenna, Ohio! As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for acting as a point of contact for incoming and existing employees and performing other various tasks. This direct-hire position offers $100k-$110k per year!
Responsibilities of the HR Generalist Include:
- Recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
- Implementing new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
- Handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
- Reviewing, tracking, and documenting compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
- Generating Payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transaction including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes and other deductions
- Evaluates employee performance and appraising their pay scale accordingly
- Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips and warning letters
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications :
Requirements of the HR Generalist Include:
- 8-10+ years of experience as an HRBP or Human Resources Generalist with experience manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years' experience leading the Human Resources function for a manufacturing facility highly preferred
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software(SAP_ERP), ADP
