Our client is looking for an innovative Oracle Sr. BSA leader to join their team! This Oracle Sr. Business Systems Analyst must be proven in the following skills:


 



  • Extensive knowledge and implementation on Oracle financial systems

  • Extensive experience with Oracle applications within Finance applications.

  • Significant experience and knowledge of Oracle ERP systems in some or all of the listed modules. (GL/AP/AR/FA/CE/CST/eBTax/Projects/Localizations)

  • Manufacturing Costing Experience


Our client will want this Oracle Sr. BSA to be hands on, oversee BSA’s on projects, and be able to thrive in a very collaborative environment. This Sr. BSA with Oracle should have good communication, work with business on releases, be influential, and provide leadership on a team.


 
















Job Summary:


The Sr. Finance Oracle Business Systems Analyst is the key interface with our business customers to understand business requirements and translate those into enhanced or new information systems that meet those requirements as part of a multi-year Oracle ERP program representing the needs of Finance including the following Oracle modules – GL/AP/AR/FA/CE/CST/eBTax/Projects.   In addition, the BSA will work with the business team to assist in identifying future state business processes and maximizing the effectiveness of new and existing systems. The Oracle Finance BSA role is deeply knowledgeable in Oracle eBS and in business processes that support one or more related business functions.


Essential Functions & Accountabilities:



  • Is a key team leader on the multi-year Oracle ERP program representing the needs of the Finance organization.

  • Utilizes and provides Oracle expertise and knowledge to allow for optimal solution design to meet requirements

  • Reviews requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solutions.

  • Evaluates local and global system development proposals and provide analysis and recommendations to local management on likely impacts

  • Research, communicate and demonstrate “best practice” opportunities for the local/regional organization, allowing key decision makers and local/regional managers the opportunity to leverage “best practice” as a strategic and competitive advantage for the organization. 

  • Proven ability to demonstrate and understand the components of running a project on time.

  • Plan and lead testing, implementation, training, support and documentation activities for local projects

  • Facilitates communication, cooperation, and knowledge sharing with the end user community as well as internal team members across the regional area and with the other local/regional Business Analysts to ensure a global system.

  • Able to capably use available system tools (Cognos/Noetix/BI, SQL, Oracle reporting tools) to gather and prepare data for troubleshooting, reporting and analytical tasks.

  • Able to lead team and user group meetings.

  • Delivers informative, well-organized presentations.

  • Effectively communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand format.


 Technical Understanding:



  • Significant experience and knowledge of Oracle ERP systems in some or all of the listed modules. (GL/AP/AR/FA/CE/CST/eBTax/Projects/Localizations)

  • Proven understanding of the of application programming, database and system design.

  • Experience and knowledge of Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.


 Problem Solving:



  • Identifies critical issues with ease by utilizing both IT knowledge and logistics process knowledge resulting in effective solutions.

  • Pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing systems and infrastructure.
